CDL A Truck Driver

Bowden Contracting is a masonry company that has been in business since 2008. We are searching for a qualified, dependable class A or B driver to join our team. In this role you will be transporting materials locally and working with field crew and managers. Our drivers are required to drive safe and be professional.

The expectations of a CDL driver are listed below but not limited to:
-Drive dump truck to pick up, and haul materials to construction sites.
-Assist loading and unloading materials using cranks and levers
-Dumping materials into the appropriate location on jobsite
-Inspect load before leaving yard or jobsite, to ensure everything is secure.
-Driving a Manual Transmission
-Able to lift 75 Pounds.

Knowledge or willing to accept direction of using the following equipment:

• Ratcheting Chains
• Binders
• Straps
• Caulks
• Jacks
• Pintle Hooks
• Track loaders
• Mini Excavators
• Cranes
• Forklift

Communication skills
• Check In when tasks are completed
• Work independently & with a team
• Ability to follow instructions

Schedule
• Monday through Friday 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM, occasional Saturdays
• Overtime – We ask that you be available & willing to communicate
• 30 Minute lunch, 15 Minute break with in 2 hours of morning shift, and another 15-minute break in the afternoon

Concrete, Masonry, and Grading in and outside of the triangle area since 2008.
