Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing accurate service recommendations, and ensuring a seamless service experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of automotive repair and maintenance.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
• Provide clear explanations of services required, including automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair options.
• Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Document customer concerns and service recommendations accurately in the system.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage the scheduling of appointments and follow up with customers regarding their service status.
• Maintain knowledge of current automotive technologies, trends, and best practices in service writing.
• Assist with tire service and air brake inspections as needed.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including diagnostics and maintenance tasks.
• Strong skills in service writing and communicating technical information to customers in an understandable manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Proficiency in using automotive software systems for documenting services and managing customer interactions.
• A background in upselling services is advantageous to enhance customer experience and business growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
