Health Source Group is hiring compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with developmental disabilities across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Staten Island. What You'll Do:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential, day habilitation, or community-based settings
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and skill-building
- Support individuals in community integration, appointments, and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with OPWDD standards
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for the individuals you serve
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience as a DSP, Direct Care Counselor, Residential Aide, or Habilitation Specialist preferred (OPWDD/IRA/Day Hab experience a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license a plus, not required for all locations
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care
- Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprint clearance
