About the Role:
BELMONT HEALTH RX INC is looking for a bilingual, customer-focused Pharmacy Cashier to join our team in the Bronx, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in your community by helping Spanish-speaking patients navigate their pharmacy needs with ease and confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in both English and Spanish, ensuring a welcoming and supportive pharmacy experience
• Process cash, credit, and insurance transactions accurately at the point of sale
• Communicate prescription pickup information and wait times to patients clearly and professionally
• Assist Spanish-speaking customers in understanding prescription instructions, co-pays, and pharmacy policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-end counter and retail area
• Coordinate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth customer flow
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism

Requirements:

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required
• Prior cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
