Warehouse Shipping & Returns

We are looking to add a team member to our warehouse for the busy holiday season. Please note that this is a seasonal position for the fall and winter. There is no specific end date, but it would likely be in March/April. We specialize in outdoor sporting goods, specifically heated clothing. We manage several websites and have multiple brands in local ski shops, hardware stores, and big-box retail stores.

The role is multifaceted. You will help pick and ship orders and will assist with processing returns and exchanges.

We sell many different brands and items. Each brand is different, so it will be essential to be detail-oriented. You will be working closely with the warehouse, customer service, and buying teams to provide feedback on issues you encounter during returns.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and/or Qualifications:

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or E-commerce roles is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be proactive, have good communication skills, and be punctual.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Must have the ability to stand regularly and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Works well with others. There are usually 5 to 7 of us in the warehouse during working hours.
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with management and customer service to resolve issues as they arise.
• Understand order management software—specifically Retail Ops, Shopify, and FreshDesk.
• Help maintain an accurate inventory using inventory management software and barcode scanners.
• Please track recurring product issues and notify our purchasing team.
• May perform other related duties as necessary.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations for self and others.
• Maintains good housekeeping of assigned work area. (Or at least tries to...it isn’t always easy.)
• Has a generally good attitude; it gets busy here in the Fall/Winter, but you can still have some fun at work. It doesn't have to be a total slog.
  

A background check will be done for this role. This is temp-to-hire. If it's a good fit, we do like to keep people on full-time after the seasonal role.
