Primary responsibilities
• Drive company vehicle to customer locations. Good driving record a must-have!
• Meet with customers to explain service and service agreement and have customers fill out and
sign appropriate paperwork.
• Inspects the customer’s premises to identify insect and pest problems and applies appropriate
products according to label directions.
• Spray chemical solutions, powders, and mists on or near surfaces of a building or house to
eliminate pests.
• Upon service completion, fill out necessary paperwork including the service ticket, new sales
agreement, etc.
• Advise customer of the services provided.
• Set mechanical traps and place bait if needed. Remove dead rodents after extermination.
• Inspect property to ascertain wall and roof porosity and possible sites of pest invasion.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Achieve assigned service performance objectives
• Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required
to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation.
• Measure area dimensions requiring treatment.
• Calculate formulation percentages and amounts based on measurements of areas.
• Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during application.
• Power-spray chemicals onto surfaces.
Requirements:
• Good work history
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in the field with strong organizational skills
• Route based experience a plus
