Personal Injury Paralegal

Schedule: Schedule: Part-time, 20 hrs/week (could be 5 days/week, 4 hrs/day, or could be 2.5 days, flexible)

Pay Range: $35-$40/hour

Duration: Contract-to-perm position for the right fit

Location: San Jose, CA 95112

Position Overview: Handle all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through resolution, including:

• Client intake and correspondence
• Coordinate and assist with medical treatment
• Collect and organize medical records
• Manage deadlines
• Schedule court appearances and depositions
• Drafting, propounding, and responding to discovery
• Draft initial pleadings
• Ongoing client communication
• Supporting the attorney, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage complex procedural information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Word Perfect
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
