Job description

We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in meat preparation and cutting.. You will be responsible for preparing, trimming, and cutting meat while maintaining the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cut, trim, and display meat products for customers.
• Operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, sanitary condition.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable butcher/meat cutting experience.
• Skilled in precise knife work and safe handling of cutting tools.
• Strong knowledge of different cuts and types of meat.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in cold and wet environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
