Preschool Aide

The Preschool Aide plays a vital role in supporting early childhood education by ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. Working primarily in the classroom, this role involves daily interaction with children, assisting the lead teacher, and participating in occasional field trips.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being
• Support classroom activities and daily lesson plans
• Set up educational and recreational activities
• Enforce safety protocols within the classroom
• Communicate with parents regarding child progress and needs
• Clean and organize classroom materials and environment
• Assist the lead teacher with instructional tasks
• Help with snack preparation and distribution
• Accompany children on occasional field trips

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in early childhood education
• Completion of 12 Core Units in early childhood education
