Job Description
Position: Automotive Installation Technician
Location: Westminster, MD
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Monday - Friday
Pay: $25 - $35/hour based on experience
Job Overview:
This position will perform final assembly and appearance of vehicles. The ideal candidates will have experience installing vehicle interiors, trim, flooring, lighting, cameras, accessories, or other finish components. Individuals from collision repair shops, auto body shops, custom vehicle or truck accessory installers, RV or camper manufacturers, marine interior installers, cabinet or finish carpenters, furniture assemblers, or automotive restyling and aftermarket accessory companies often possess the attention to detail and craftsmanship needed for this position. We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing a clean, high-quality finished product.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Installing seats, carpets, gaskets, and seat belts.
- Adhering vinyl flooring, padding, and insulation to the inside of the vehicle.
- Utilizing a tablet to program the vehicle’s door module.
- Installing plastic interior panels along the inside of the vehicle.
- Installing AC Duct Work inside of the vehicle.
- Testing lights, windows, and doors to ensure functionality.
- Utilization of work order processing software.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training.
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Must be able to pass a drug test, including THC.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a variety of hand and power tools.
