Pest Control Technician

We are looking for a full-time, motivated individual who is comfortable in the elements, on the road and in areas such as an attic and on ladders when needed. We have been servicing S Florida for over 40 years, so job stability and long-term success is what we can offer our team members.
The Pest Control Technician plays a critical role in maintaining safe and pest-free environments across residential and commercial properties. Working within a team-based structure and reporting directly to a supervisor, this position involves frequent travel and hands-on application of pest control treatments. The role offers health insurance benefits, a take-home vehicle, and opportunities for career advancement. Some experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Training starts at $18-$20/hr based on experience and after a 90-day probation, the position is eligible for commission, a take-home vehicle and benefits
Responsibilities
- Identify various pests accurately to determine appropriate treatment
- Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively
- Maintain and service equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial environments
- Keep detailed and accurate records of treatments and inspections
- Handle chemicals according to safety standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in pest control
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong pest identification skills
- Proficient in chemical handling and equipment operation
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
- Effective customer service and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with accurate record keeping
- Capable problem solver with good time management skills
