Patient Solutions Coordinator
Job Description
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for providing high quality, professional, and efficient administrative and customer support. A Patient Solutions Coordinator is a crucial link between teammates, the staff at the Veterans Administration (VA), and individual military veterans.
Responsibilities:
· Greet veterans promptly and courteously including responding to phone calls within first two rings.
· Monitor incoming emails and text messages and respond directly or triage to correct team member for action
· Contact veterans to verify shipping and contact information, introduce the program details ordered by their physician and schedule equipment setups with our clinical specialists
· Input new order details into our ERP system, Great Plains
· Input patient demographics, Purchase Oder details and shipment tracking information into cloud-based software system
· Triage & troubleshoot therapy concerns of the patient
· Attend weekly team meetings to discuss successes, challenges and also develop best practices for our program
· Satisfactorily complete all initial and annual training and education requirements for ACHC accreditation
· Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and First Nation Group company policies
· Follow all policies and procedures to meet accreditation guidelines
· In the absence of the Director, Customer Operations, this role may be required to answer inquiries, and/or access and present information to outside audit agencies, including the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) or Medicare
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise other employees.
Required Skills:
· 1+ year phone customer service experience required
· Working knowledge of CRMs
· ERP data entry experience
· Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Preferred Skills:
· Durable Medical Equipment (DME) customer service experience preferred
· Virtual meeting platform experience preferred
· Experience working with VAs and/or the DoD
Education and Credential Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Associates degree preferred

Work Environment:
This job operates in an office and/or remote office environment. Use of standard office equipment, such as computers and phones, is required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands included here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must pass drug testing.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Extensive use of a computer is required, including a minimum of 6 hours, per day, entering data. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
Travel:
No travel required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position. Some overtime is routinely expected.
