Optometric Receptionist/Technician
Job Description
El Paso Optical Center is seeking a bilingual, Spanish/English speaking, friendly, computer savvy, detail-oriented Receptionist/Technician to answer phones and welcome our patients. Previous experience in an optometry/ophthalmology practice is a plus, but not necessary. Training will be available for all aspects of the position.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...
- WELCOMING PATIENTS, VENDORS, REPS AND OTHER VISITORS TO OUR OFFICE
- HAVING NECESSARY PAPERWORK FILLED OUT BY PATIENTS, SCANNING OR UPLOADING INTO PATIENT'S CHART IN OUR SYSTEM
- ANSWERING PHONES
- SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS USING OFFICEMATE (OUR MEDICAL SOFTWARE)
- RESPONDING TO EMAILS
QUALIFICATIONS...
- FREINDLY AND COMPASSIONATE
- ORGANIZED
- STRONG VERBAL SKILLS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH
- STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS
- DEDICATION TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT RECORDS
- PUNCTUAL WITH STRONG ATTENDANCE HISTORY
