Safely operate assigned excavation equipment, including backhoe, excavators, bobcats. Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers. Follow all equipment and vehicle monitoring and maintenance requirements. Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality. Ensure proper and safe operation of equipment and vehicles and other duties as assigned. Report needed repairs and service to appropriate parties. Knowledge of proper of equipment and safety standards.
Must have the ability to communicate with crew members, foreman and customers. Ability to understand verbal orders. Ability to work 40+ hours per week. Flexible hours a must.
CDL Class A license preferred. Must have own transportation to office/shop.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme cold and heat, wet muddy conditions.
