Creating Balance Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Altamonte Springs, FL! Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate data on client behavior and skill acquisition during therapy sessions
- Utilize evidence-based behavioral intervention strategies to support client goals
- Provide direct 1:1 therapy to clients in home, clinic, or community settings
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in compliance with company standards
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and treatment team members regarding client progress
- Assist in the development and review of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Requirements:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and discrete trial training (DTT)
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and Level 2 screening
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations in the Altamonte Springs area
