Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
• Handle cash accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food handling protocols
• Assist in food preparation, including basic cooking tasks, assembly, and packaging of orders
• Support team members in managing busy periods through effective time management and multitasking skills

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Experience with food preparation, cashiering, or serving in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food industry operations and team collaboration
