General Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout our client facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and doors.
• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as light switches and door handles.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain floors through mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply needs to management.
• Follow company safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain janitorial equipment and ensure it is stored properly.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and event setup/cleanup as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
