Material Handler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our warehouse/production team. This position is responsible for moving, organizing, loading, and distributing materials throughout the facility while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Great backgrounds for this position include:

Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving, Order Picker, Production Worker, Inventory Associate, or General Labor.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
• Deliver materials and supplies to designated production areas as needed.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against paperwork.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials for shipment or production.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage locations.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Operate a forklift when trained and authorized.
• Perform basic inventory counts and report shortages or damaged materials.
• Keep aisles, work areas, and storage locations clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift
• up to 50 lbs.
• throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
• Basic counting and inventory skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work well with a team.
