Warehouse Receiving Associate

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 depending on experience.


Stand Up Forklift Required

Monday-Friday: 7:00AM-3:30PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to support our receiving operations. In this role, you will inspect incoming materials, verify documentation, maintain accurate receiving records, and help ensure all products meet quality, safety, and cGMP requirements.

Reports to: Receiving Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming shipments and verify that materials arrive in acceptable condition.
  • Report damaged, incorrect, or unacceptable materials to the Receiving Supervisor.
  • Communicate discrepancies to Receiving, Purchasing, Project Management, and Quality Assurance.
  • Confirm that each delivery includes the required packing lists, bills of lading, and COA/COC documentation.
  • Verify product names, quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
  • Photograph and document damaged containers.
  • Prepare and email system-generated receiving reports.
  • Create and attach identification labels to received pallets.
  • Verify bulk-product weights using established sampling procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Follow warehouse security, safety, and cGMP procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and safe receiving area.
  • Complete other related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • One to three years of warehouse or receiving experience.
  • Valid forklift operator license and safe operating experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English for workplace communication and documentation.
  • Basic math skills necessary to verify quantities and weights.
  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to identify and communicate discrepancies.

Training

New employees will receive a three-month orientation and training period to become proficient in the position. Progress will be evaluated by the area manager or designated trainer and documented in the employee’s training record.
