- Safely handle and restrain dogs in a calm, compassionate manner
- Identify and report any skin conditions, parasites, or health concerns to pet owners
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized grooming station and salon area
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming needs and recommendations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dog grooming, bathing, or a related pet care role preferred
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and techniques
- Ability to safely handle dogs of various temperaments, sizes, and breeds
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care and well-being
- Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced grooming environment
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle large dogs
