Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with fire sprinkler systems for commercial construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure project budgets are precise, competitive, and aligned with client expectations. Duties

• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications related to fire sprinkler systems.
• Estimate material requirements by analyzing blueprints and technical drawings to determine quantities and specifications.
• Develop accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services while considering current market conditions.
• Manage project estimates from initial conceptual budgets through detailed proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and project scope.
• Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and design teams to review contracts, scope changes, and project timelines for accurate cost control.
• Salary plus bonuses.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator within the fire protection or commercial construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction documents related to fire sprinkler systems.
• Demonstrated ability in cost management, material cost estimating, and estimating construction project budgets effectively.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong client communication abilities to foster positive relationships.
• Familiarity with contracts, pricing strategies, and managing estimation for commercial projects involving fire suppression systems.
• Construction site experience is preferred to better understand on-the-ground realities impacting estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting purposes.
