Job Title: IT Desktop Support
Job type and Location: Short Term Project, Onsite in Englewood, CO
Working Model: This is a short-term project starting from Monday, 31st August 2026, through Friday, 4th September 2026. You will be required to work onsite from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time.
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced L2 Onsite Support Engineers to support a site survey at the Englewood location. The engineers will provide hands-on technical support, assist with infrastructure assessment, and ensure all required site survey activities are completed before the office closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite L2 technical support during the site survey.
- Perform hardware, software, network, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Assist with assessment and documentation of the site's IT infrastructure.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex issues when required.
- Support network devices, endpoints, printers, peripherals, and other onsite IT equipment.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity, cabling, ports, and device configuration checks.
- Document hardware, network, and infrastructure details identified during the survey.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders and remote technical teams.
- Maintain accurate records of findings, issues, and recommendations.
- Ensure all assigned site survey activities are completed within the required timeline.
L2 Engineer Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, desktop support, or L2 technical support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, laptops/desktops, printers, peripherals, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and basic network issues.
- Familiarity with network switches, routers, access points, patch panels, and structured cabling.
- Ability to perform hardware installation, replacement, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and basic Microsoft 365 troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently at the L2 level.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally at a client site.
- Must be available onsite Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM local time, from August 31 through September 4.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience conducting IT infrastructure/site surveys.
- Experience working in enterprise or corporate environments.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with IT asset inventory and infrastructure documentation tools.
Assignment Details
This is a short-term onsite L2 support assignment focused on completing a comprehensive site survey before the office closure. Candidates must be available for the entire assignment period and comfortable performing hands-on technical activities at the Englewood site.
