Customer Service Admin
Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering service inquiries via telephone and internet in a patient, knowledgeable and professional manner. Transfers calls to appropriate internal departments.
- Performs outbound telephone calls to existing customers to assist with their order entry.
- Maintains current customer accounts for accuracy, including TABC licensing and location updates. Opens new accounts in coordination with the Sales teams.
- Provides administrative support for external and internal customers such as order entry, sales history, delivery information and other general account inquiries.
- Resolves product or service issues by researching the issue and providing a resolution. Forwards escalated issues to the appropriate manager and assists with resolution.
- Applies postage to outgoing mail and distributes incoming mail and packages to branch employees.
- Arranges and secures rooms for meetings or events.
- Monitors supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED.
- Associates preferred or 1-2 years clerical experience.
- Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
- Bilingual in English / Spanish, preferred.
- Strong clerical skills, knowledge of file maintenance and computer navigation skills.
- Intermediate computer knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers and fellow employees.
- Must be able to multi-task; strong attention to detail with ability to change priorities.
Physical Requirement:
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
- Performs light to medium work exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- Work hours will vary daily due to business needs
