SEIT Provider Opportunity (10458)

We are seeking a qualified, Russian-bilingual Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) to provide direct instructional services to a preschool-aged student in Brooklyn, NY. Services must be delivered in Russian. This is a part-time position, approximately 5 hours per week. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood special education and committed to helping children reach their developmental and academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group SEIT services in Russian, in accordance with the student's IEP
• Implement individualized goals and track student progress
• Communicate regularly with parents, agency staff, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and support team as needed

Qualifications

• Valid NYS certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–2, or applicable extension), with a Bilingual Extension in Russian
• Fluent in Russian and English, spoken and written
• Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
• Must be able to travel to the Brooklyn, NY 11214 area
