Rental Car Supervisor $17hr

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL! As a supervisor, you will oversee the operations of the car rental industry to ensure cars are transported to the correct areas of the rental lot in a timely manner. Your primary function will be ensuring drivers are picking up the cars that are dropped off by customers to get them cleaned and serviced, that clean vehicles are staged for new customers, and that the lot is full of rental cars for our client to rent out. This role is operational, not an office role.

Responsibilities:

You will monitor all employees scheduled to work on your shift.

• Make sure employees are productive while at work
• Making sure employees are following safety protocols
• Ensure productivity standards and benchmarks are met in the assigned location.
• Complete the required paperwork related to productivity standards.
• Coach and mentor new employees.
• Cover for Site Manager on days off and carry out tasks a directed.
• Cover driver/transporters lead and VSA's (car cleaners) when needed to fulfill customer needs.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Train and develop team members
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members
• Track employee attendance
• Track callouts and notate
• Act as liaison between EDS management and Clients on smooth communication, timely updates and exceptional service
• Hands on Car cleaning
• Hands-on driving and moving rental cars
• Cover for the Site Manager on days off and carry out tasks as directed.

Requirements:

• Must have a Valid US driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Clean driving Record
• Previous Rental Experience is a plus
• Previous leadership/ management experience required
• Must be able to work in inclement weather
• Ability to handle physical workload, getting in and out of vehicles safely.
• Must be able to drive up to 8-hour shifts
• Must be able to walk, stand, and bend up to 8 hr. shifts
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments up to 8 hr. shift
• Weekend availability
