Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–1:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook / Production Cook to support daily food preparation and production in a school environment. This position will help prepare meals for students while maintaining high standards of food quality, sanitation, and production readiness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food for students according to established recipes and production requirements.
  • Ensure meals are prepared properly and ready for scheduled service.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
  • Monitor food quality throughout the preparation and production process.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production and meal readiness goals.
  • Assist with general kitchen duties and support the school food service operation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous cooking or food production experience preferred.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy school kitchen environment.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and student meal readiness.
