Mechanical Technologist

• Perform mechanical assembly, installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify the root cause of issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical testing equipment.
• Inspect mechanical components for defects, wear, damage, and proper operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical components.
• Assist with equipment testing and ensure machinery operates according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, Machine Mechanic, or similar role preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
