Transit Aid

Full-time, temp-to-hire Transit Aid needed in El Centro for a Monday–Friday day shift. This role involves safely operating a 15-passenger van, basic vehicle repairs, and supporting operations as needed. Training is provided in Visalia for approximately two weeks, with hotel accommodations and meal reimbursements included.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 15-passenger van.
• Perform basic vehicle repairs using hand tools.
• Work outdoors and assist in other regions as needed.
• Use iOS smartphones and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
• Support operations during evenings, weekends, holidays, and standby periods as needed.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to pass a Class B physical as part of the hiring process.
• Basic vehicle repair knowledge and experience with tools.
• Proficient with an iOS smartphone and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to relocate and work in other regions as needed.
• Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and standby.
• Willing to relocate and work in other regions as needed, including Ventura County, San Luis Obispo County, Monterey County, Napa County, and Tulare County.
