Pharmacist

Job Summary

Looking for a consistent staff pharmacist to work both Fridays and Saturdays.

Hours:

- Friday: 9 am - 6 pm

- Saturdays: 10 am - 2 pm

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, critical care, and acute care settings. The Pharmacist will also play a vital role in patient education, medication management, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
• Dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct clinical assessments and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Manage inventory effectively, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in critical care initiatives and support acute care services as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and relevant systems.
• Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
