We are seeking Travel/Local RN – Emergency Department for multiple 13-week travel/contract positions in Springfield, MA.
Travel/Local RN – Emergency Department / High-Acuity Care
Location: Springfield, MA
Start Date: September 7, 2026
⏳ Assignment: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Local Pay Rate: $80.60/hr W-2 Gross
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 available
Open Positions: 10
Minimum Experience: 2 Years
Unit Size: 118 Beds
Typical Ratio: 1:6
Position Details
This is a large, high-acuity emergency care unit serving a highly diverse patient population, including behavioral health and boarding patients, emergency/trauma cases, and critically ill/ICU-level patients.
Nurses must be comfortable managing complex and unstable patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience post-orientation
- Active RN license required
- BLS & ACLS required
- Strong critical-care skills
- Ability to manage mixed-acuity patients
- Excellent adaptability in a high-pressure environment
- Holiday coverage required
- Bilingual: Not required

Local Pay Example
3x12 Schedule – 36 Hours/Week
- W-2 Gross: $80.60/hr
- Weekly Gross: $2,901.6
4x12 Schedule – 48 Hours/Week: Additional hours may be subject to applicable overtime rules.
