Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, ethical, and safety-oriented Low Voltage / Field Technician to install and service controls solutions for residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and HVAC/R systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform low-voltage HVAC wiring in new and existing residential and commercial buildings.
  • Install standalone and DDC control systems for HVAC/R applications.
  • Install conduit, electrical raceways, cabling, and control devices.
  • Read and interpret wiring schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
  • Apply working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Complete required documentation, including daily reports, AWA’s, and RFI’s.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials and supplies used on each job.
  • Follow applicable local and national electrical codes and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.


Qualifications

  • Previous wiring or electrical installation experience.
  • Residential and/or commercial electrical installation experience preferred.
  • Previous HVAC controls and low-voltage wiring experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of controls installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Working knowledge of trade materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.


Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in dusty, noisy, and hazardous environments.
  • Ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and in confined or difficult-to-access areas.
  • Ability to climb, balance, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform other physical jobsite activities.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and equipment required for the job.


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


License/Certification

  • Valid driver's license required.
