Position Summary: The Controls/mechanic technician job will include but not limited to, troubleshooting bottle and can line fillers, packaging equipment, conveyors, motors, VFD, and other associated equipment.
Controls/Mechanic will help with changing out motors, gearboxes, chain conveyors, and all other equipment associated within our facility.
The Electrician is responsible for ensuring all equipment runs properly, including building facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Systems include Bottle and Can filling machines, conveyors, batch mixers, electrical distribution systems, and building automation systems.
- Must be able to troubleshoot complex machinery, both electrically and mechanically.
- Must have 480v 3 phase, 120v, 24 vdc experience
- Must be able to troubleshoot motors, VFDs start/stop circuits, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs with RSlogix 500 and Studio 5000 a huge plus.
- Must have mechanical abilities and have your own tools.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Job related certifications are a plus.
Preferred candidate will possess:
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance bottle/canning/packaging operations are a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing facility installing and troubleshooting electrical components and machinery,
Language Skills:
- Working understanding of spoken English
- Working understanding of written English

- Ability stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery with hands.
- Ability to reach vertically and horizontally with hands and arms.
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Possess required visual abilities close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- Workspace is not climate controlled and can reach both hot and cold extremes (50 degrees – 110 degrees Fahrenheit)
- infrequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration
