HVAC Technician

A growing and well-established mechanical services company is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join its team in the New Haven, CT area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial and/or residential HVAC systems. We are looking for dependable technicians who take pride in their work, provide excellent customer service, and can diagnose and resolve HVAC issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Install, replace, and service HVAC components and equipment as needed
• Read and interpret equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and management
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Provide professional, courteous customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• EPA certification is a plus
• Connecticut HVAC license or applicable certifications are a plus
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
