Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

The Greer Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a stable and established employer located in the Arden, NC area!

What You'll Do

The primary function of this position is to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and facility systems, including:

• Mechanical and electrical systems
• Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Plumbing systems
• Heating and air systems
• Material handling and transportation equipment
• Production equipment and other facility systems
• Facility forklifts, in conjunction with the Maintenance Lead

Additional responsibilities include completing all work in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and other company standards and assisting with other facility maintenance needs as required.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in the plastics industry
• Working knowledge of electronics and hydraulics
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic and hydraulic schematics
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to occasionally work off-shift hours when necessary
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Schedule & Pay

• Direct Hire Opportunity
• Hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Schedule may vary, so flexibility is important
• Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour
