Electromechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler II to join our growing team. In this mid-level role, you will perform more complex assembly tasks of electromechanical systems with minimal supervision. You’ll build on foundational skills to independently interpret technical drawings, perform soldering and crimping, and support basic testing of assemblies.
Essential Functions

- Perform intermediate-level soldering and crimping on connectors, cables, and circuit boards.
- Assist with functional testing of assemblies using basic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, signal generators).
- Assemble and electromechanical components per assembly drawings and schematics with minimal supervision.
- Ensure assemblies meet quality standards and document work accurately.
- Maintain and organize workstation to company 5S and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior assemblers to resolve issues or suggest improvements.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Support training of Level I assemblers when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of wiring and soldering practices; IPC Certification a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wring diagrams, and bill of materials.
- Familiarity with basic assembly tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.)
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and assembly jigs/fixtures.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and be on their must of the day
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Technical training or coursework in electronics, mechanical assembly, or related field a plus
