Lead HVAC Service Technician

LEAD HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Are you the HVAC technician everyone else calls when they can't figure it out?

All Star Plumbing & Air is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician to help us grow and strengthen our HVAC department.

We're not looking for an entry-level technician.

We're looking for someone who can walk into a difficult residential HVAC problem, diagnose it correctly, explain it confidently to the customer, provide the right solution and help other technicians become better at what they do.

What You'll Do

• Run residential HVAC service and diagnostic calls
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, refrigeration and airflow problems
• Diagnose the root cause — not just replace parts
• Provide homeowners with clear repair and replacement options
• Help other HVAC technicians troubleshoot difficult calls
• Train and mentor junior technicians
• Help reduce callbacks and improve diagnostic quality
• Document system readings, photos, findings and recommendations
• Help management improve HVAC procedures and technical standards
  

We're Looking For

• 3+ years residential HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong HVAC diagnostic ability
• Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong refrigeration knowledge
• Understanding of airflow and static pressure
• Heat pump and split-system experience
• EPA certification
• Clean/acceptable driving record
• Strong customer communication skills
• Ability to mentor other technicians
• Professional appearance and attitude
• ServiceTitan experience preferred
  

Compensation & Benefits

$25–$35/hour + performance incentives

Compensation will be based on experience and technical ability.
