Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Quality Control Technician for our client. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic subassemblies and completed assemblies to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.


What’s a Typical Day Like?


Inspect electronic subassemblies and completed products using multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, and other testing equipment.

Perform functional and in-circuit testing of electronic boards and systems.

Troubleshoot product defects and nonconformities.

Support root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions, including CARs and SCARs.

Document inspection results, testing data, and quality issues using ERP or QMS software.

Assist with internal and external audits and compliance reporting.

Communicate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.

Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.

Assist with developing and updating inspection procedures, control plans, and work instructions.


What Are the Requirements?


Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

At least two years of experience in electronics testing, quality control, or a related position.

Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and wiring schematics.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Experience using electronic testing equipment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, and Fishbone Diagrams is preferred.

UL 508A certification or experience is preferred.

Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with small electronic components.

Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, twist, squat, climb, and kneel for extended periods.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
