Night Shift Lead Setup Machinist (CNC Lathes & Mills)

We are looking for a hands-on Night Shift Lead Setup Machinist to take ownership of our evening production, keep machines humming, and support our operator team with limited supervision.

Schedule & Pay:

• Hours: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM start (10-hour shifts)
• Breaks: Two 10-minute breaks + 30-minute lunch | Overtime available
• Pay: Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate both CNC lathes and mills.
• Make offsets and program edits at Fanuc controls.
• Troubleshoot tooling, setup, and dimensional issues on the fly.
• Read blueprints and inspect completed parts against tolerances.
• Delegate tasks, assist operators, and lead shift productivity.
• Communicate priorities and shift updates directly to day-shift leadership.

Requirements:

• Proven CNC setup and machining experience on both mills and lathes.
• Strong ability to edit Fanuc programs and troubleshoot setup issues.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the confidence to make independent production decisions.
• Excellent blueprint reading and inspection capabilities.
