Manufacturing Production Support Assistant

Oar Staffing is conducting a search for a Production Support Assistant for a manufacturing client in Norristown, PA

This is a Temp to Hire position

Inventory control experience plus food/product manufacturing experience is preferred

The Production Support Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Production and Engineering departments to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and workflow continuity. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, inventory control, work order processing, and departmental compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• · Conduct periodic walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• · Conduct paperwork checks during their shift to ensure adherence to company and departmental policies
• · Assist in executing daily production work orders by safely operating mixing equipment, accurately weighing ingredients, and preparing raw materials according to production requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
