Maintenance Tech for Machine Shop (1st shift)

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.

This role focuses on minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CNC machines and related equipment
• Develop, implement, and improve preventive maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using real-time data and diagnostic tools
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and ladder logic diagrams
• Perform repairs including:
• Ball screws, bearings, and linear guides
• Backlash adjustments and machine leveling
• Spindle removal and turret alignments
• Servo drives, parameters/keep relays, and battery replacement
• Operate CNC machines to verify repairs and performance
• Maintain detailed repair reports and service documentation
• Work independently with minimal supervision to resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: is up to $50.00 per hour (based on experience)
