Electrician

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Commercial Electricians for immediate hire in the Allentown, PA area.

LONG TERM! WEEKLY PAY!

PAY: $25-$40/hour (based upon position and experience)

HOURS: Shifts will be 8.5-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5+ days per week

SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 6:30 am-3:00 pm

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: Long Term/Temp-to-Perm

Electrician Job Description:
We are looking for Commercial Electricians with 2-4 years of commercial electrical experience. Electricians will assist with and perform commercial electrical installations, renovations, service work, and troubleshooting. Must be capable of installing and terminating wiring, devices, panels, disconnects, and electrical equipment. Experience with EMT and other conduit systems, wire pulling, commercial lighting, and power distribution is required.

Qualifications for Electrician:
2-4 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
Proficiency with wire pulling, bending, and running EMT and other conduit systems.
Ability to install and terminate wiring, devices, panels, disconnects, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
Working knowledge of electrical safety practices and NEC requirements.
Experience with commercial lighting, power distribution, and electrical fit-outs.
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE.
Must be able to troubleshoot electrical issues with direction from senior electricians and leads.
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Must have standard electrical hand tools.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with three-phase power, distribution equipment, transformers, motor controls, generators, low-voltage controls, troubleshooting, or industrial facilities is a plus.

Additional Requirements for Electrician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
Drug and background screening required.
