Location: Mt. Vernon / Downtown Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $65,000–$68,000 per year, depending on experience

Experienced Maintenance Technician Wanted

Bay Management Group is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Baltimore.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality repairs, and wants a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call rotation.

You will be responsible for routine service calls, apartment turnovers, repairs, and general maintenance at residential properties throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County.

Maintenance experience and professional references are required.

What You'll Do

• Respond to routine residential maintenance requests
• Prepare apartments for new tenants and complete apartment turnovers
• Perform repairs and maintenance involving:
• • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Carpentry
  • Painting
  • General building systems
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Work with properties built before 1978 and understand lead-related requirements
• Complete inspections and document work using a tablet and photos
• Research parts and equipment online
• Maintain an organized schedule and accurate service records
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
• Travel between properties throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Compensation

Starting salary: $65,000–$68,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

What We're Looking For

• Previous professional residential maintenance experience required
• Well-rounded knowledge of multiple maintenance trades
• Experience with pre-1978 properties and lead-related requirements
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using email, electronic calendars, tablets, and computers
• Microsoft Outlook experience
• Ability to research parts and equipment online
• AppFolio experience is a plus, but not required
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
