On-Site Property Maintenance Technician

The Property Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facility. Working both independently and as part of a maintenance team, this technician handles a wide range of maintenance tasks using company-provided and or personal tools. The role involves regular basic repairs and preventive maintenance to keep property in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance orders
• Service and or inspect HVAC systems regularly
• Carry out unit flip tasks; carpet removal, replacing plumbing and light fixtures, appliance installation
• Capable of the physical demands that include lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, or carrying 60 lbs. from floor level to overhead position
• Inspect equipment for safety and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
• Complete preventive maintenance activities
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in property maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in property maintenance or related field
• Knowledge of electrical systems maintenance
• Experience with plumbing repair
• Understanding of HVAC systems
• Painting skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management
• Good communication skills
• Adherence to safety compliance standards
