ABOUT THE ROLE:
Candian Construction & Services Inc is looking for a motivated Electrician Helper to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of the electrical trade, work alongside experienced professionals, and build a rewarding career in construction.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Pull wire, run conduit, and help with rough-in and finish electrical work
- Transport, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials on the job site
- Prepare work areas by digging trenches, drilling holes, and setting up ladders or scaffolding
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on active construction sites
- Support the crew with general labor tasks as directed by the lead electrician
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in construction, electrical work, or a trade helper role is a plus
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and safety procedures preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn and grow within the electrical trade
