Job Description
Electrical Assembler: 3pm-11pm
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Electrical Assembler to assemble, wire, and install electrical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. Candidates must be able to independently read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to accurately complete electrical assemblies in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Essential Job Duties
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Assemble electrical components according to specifications and drawings.
- Install and connect wires, cables, terminals, switches, relays, breakers, and other electrical components.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical connections.
- Build and wire electrical panels, control boxes, or similar assemblies.
- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, terminate, and route electrical wiring.
- Identify electrical components and verify proper placement before installation.
- Use hand and power tools to complete electrical assemblies.
- Use basic electrical testing equipment, including multimeters when required.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper wiring, connections, and workmanship.
- Troubleshoot basic wiring and assembly issues.
- Follow work orders, bills of materials, diagrams, and production instructions.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality work while meeting production requirements.
- Follow all company safety procedures and electrical safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Previous electrical assembly, electrical wiring, panel wiring, or industrial electrical experience strongly preferred.
- Understanding of electrical components, wiring, and connections.
- Ability to follow detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using electrical and mechanical hand tools.
- Ability to measure accurately and perform basic shop math.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical assembly problems.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with previous experience as an Electrical Assembler, Electrical Technician, Panel Wirer, Control Panel Builder, Industrial Electrician Helper, Electrical Wiring Technician, or Electromechanical Assembler are encouraged to apply.
Key Requirement: Candidates must have actual experience reading and working from electrical blueprints and schematics.
