People Source is currently hiring Journeyman Plumbers for commercial construction projects. We are looking for experienced, dependable plumbers who can confidently perform commercial plumbing installations, read blueprints, and work independently or as part of a crew.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems
- Perform plumbing work throughout underground, rough-in, top-out, and finish phases
- Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing plans, layouts, and project specifications
- Install and connect water, drain, waste, and vent piping systems
- Install pipe, fittings, valves, fixtures, hangers, supports, and plumbing equipment
- Measure, cut, thread, solder, braze, glue, and assemble pipe and fittings as required
- Perform accurate plumbing layout and determine proper pipe routing, elevations, and locations
- Install and connect commercial plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Troubleshoot plumbing systems and identify installation or operational issues
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and modifications as required
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation, quality, and code compliance
- Safely operate plumbing hand tools, power tools, lifts, and job-site equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety requirements
Preferred Experience:
- Commercial new construction
- Underground plumbing
- Rough-in / top-out
- Commercial finish and trim
- Large-scale plumbing systems
- PVC, copper, PEX, cast iron, and other piping systems
- Pipe hangers, supports, and trapeze systems
- Water heaters and pumps
- Soldering and brazing
- Blueprint reading and plumbing layout
