Supply Chain Specialist (1 year Temp)

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support inventory accuracy and supply chain continuity. This is a 1 year temporary role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support warehouse and network consolidation projects involving inventory transfers between distribution centers and storage locations.
2. Collaborate with 3PL providers, internal logistics teams, Customer Service team and Supply Chain stakeholders to coordinate inventory movement activities.
3. Track inventory movements to ensure timely order creation, shipment and receipt of materials between locations.
4. Investigate inventory discrepancies and collaborate with Customer Service, QA, CMOs, 3PLs, and internal Supply Chain teams to determine root causes
5. Provide coverage and support for team members during absences.
6. Manage work orders to support the receipt of Finished Goods (FG) inventory.
7. Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and perform goods receipt transactions.
8. Execute inventory adjustments in JD Edwards (JDE) while maintaining compliance with inventory control procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, warehousing, or related supply chain functions.
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and Contract Manufacturing (CMOs).
• Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems; JD Edwards (JDE) strongly preferred.
