Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Product Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, process improvements, and quality systems in a production environment. This role will work closely with In-Process Inspectors, Production, R&D, and Quality teams to ensure product quality and successful transfer of new products into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to In-Process Inspectors and production teams.
  • Support process improvements, trend analysis, process validation, SPC, and statistical techniques.
  • Coordinate In-Process MRB (Material Review Board) activities.
  • Support Quality Systems, including audits, SOP improvements, training, and CAPA investigations.
  • Support the quality aspects of new product transfers from R&D to Production.
  • Interpret and apply SPC and statistical methods to monitor and improve processes.
  • Prepare and present PPR (Product Performance Review) and Management Review information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of industry experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Medical device industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with SPC, process validation, statistical techniques, CAPA, MRB, and quality systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Compensation & Overtime

This is a Non-Exempt position. Hours worked over 40 hours per week will be paid at time and a half.
