Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour (1-year Contract)

What’s a typical day as a Supply Management Specialist? You’ll be:
  • Managing purchased parts delivery for internal and external suppliers at one or more locations
  • Supporting development and execution of strategies and contracts for commodities of lower value and complexity
  • Assisting with cost models, spend analysis, make vs. buy studies, and invoice issue resolution
  • Utilizing preset tools and formats to collate and analyze data
  • Working with Strategic Sourcing to address supplier performance and participate in supplier selection processes
  • Performing quality tests, inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Producing and updating complex Microsoft Office documents, databases, and departmental systems
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a 4-year degree in a business-related field or supply management (recent graduates welcome)
  • Possess strong communication and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independent judgment within set procedures
  • Have basic experience with office or operational systems (4 to 6 months preferred)
  • (Preferred) Have experience with SAP, inventory/parts in a manufacturing environment, and working with suppliers
