Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified School Nurse (CSN) for a full-time contract opportunity with a school district in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting student success through comprehensive healthcare services, health education, and effective communication with staff, families, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services to students in accordance with Pennsylvania school health regulations
• Assess, evaluate, and monitor student health needs throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
• Develop, implement, and maintain individual healthcare plans and emergency care plans
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Support compliance with immunization and health screening requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
• Promote student wellness, health education, and disease prevention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Pennsylvania Certified School Nurse (CSN) Certification Required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Previous school nursing, pediatric, public health, or community health experience preferred
• Commitment to fostering a safe and healthy learning environment
